    Ā”Eso es! Durante su cita, se le proporcionarĆ” una evaluaciĆ³n como parte del proceso de admisiĆ³n. Los clientes pagan las tarifas necesarias y firman acuerdos de participaciĆ³n. Los grupos FVIP se reĆŗnen durante 90 minutos una vez por semana. Usamos un currĆ­culo integral con asignaciones de tareas obligatorias que brindan discusiĆ³n para las reuniones grupales.  Turning Point tiene clases para hombres y mujeres.

2) Did a parent or other adult in the household often: Push, grab, slap, or throw something at you? Or did a parent or other adult in the household ever hit you so hard that you had marks or were injured?
3) Did an adult or person at least 5 years older than you ever: Touch or fondle you or have you touch their body in a sexual way? Or did an adult or person at least 5 years older than you attempt or actually have oral, anal, or vaginal intercourse with you?
4) Did you often feel that: No one in your family loved you or thought you were important or special or your family didnā€™t look out for each other, feel close to each other, or support each other?

FVIP Participant Contract

vi. Complete the program where the

      participant originally enrolled unless

      approval to transfer FVIPs is obtained

      from the court, other referral source, or

      the Commission;

vii. Be drug and alcohol-free during all

       classes;

viii. Acknowledge that FVIPs do not limit

        confidentiality and may release

        information to victims, victim liaisons,

        referring courts, law enforcement,

        Commission staff and monitors, the

        Department, the Board of Pardons and

        Paroles and others;

ix. Acknowledge the FVIP’s duty to warn

     policy, mandatory reporting 

     requirements, victim contact policies,

     programmatic response to continued

     violence and consequences of breaking the

     FVIP’s participant contract.

STATEMENT OF POLICY AND APPLICABLE PROCEDURES

  • Participants arriving late to class may attend class but not receive credit, and no payment shall be charged or received by the FVIP. If a participant is late to class three (3) times, it  shall be counted as one (1) absence.

  • Transfer of a participant to another program will not be permitted unless the transfer has been approved by the court, other referral source, or the Commission. FVIPs who accept transferred participants must complete all procedures required of new participants.

  • Attendees are required to have their cameras on and be present.

  • Prohibited activities include: working, driving, walking around, talking on the phone, eating, and anything that is not related to the training or meeting.

  • If you are observed doing any of the prohibited activities, staff will send you a private message, and if you continue to display the prohibited behavior, you will be removed from the session and will not receive credit for the session.

  • We understand that there will be moments when you may have to step away, if so, please let the staff person in the session know by sending a private message in the chat when you leave the session and when you return, and it will be noted. 

  • You should not be away from your computer with your camera off for more than 10 minutes.

  • Participants are expected to be in seclusion and not in the presence of the victim during classes.
